There is only one international terminal at Sydney Airport, T1, and you’ll find the check-in area in the Departures Hall, directly inside from Departures Road. It’s always a good idea to arrive at the airport nice and early for your flight, and to confirm check-in times directly with your airline as each may have different requirements. For international travellers flying out of T1 at Sydney Airport, the most convenient parking option is the multi-storey P7 Parking, located just a five-minute walk from the international terminal.
Sydney Airport has designated Pick-up and Drop-off zones for those arriving or departing from the international terminal (T1). Remember, these areas are not for parking and if your passenger isn’t ready you won’t be permitted to wait.
Each terminal at Sydney Airport has its own designated taxi rank for the convenience of travellers. You’ll find them at the front of T1, T2 and T3, and a ride from the airport to Sydney’s CBD will take you approximately 20 minutes. Rideshare options are also available, with dedicated collection areas located close to each terminal.
