Regarded as Bhutan’s most formidable trekking challenge, the Snowman Trek is a true Himalayan benchmark - remote, rugged, and undertaken by only a handful of trekkers each season.
Over 27 days, this fully supported expedition traverses a chain of 11 high-altitude passes, including Rinchen Zoe La (5326m/17,471ft) and Karakachu La (5165m/16,946ft) to reach Lunana, the most remote region of Bhutan, snowbound for much of the year.
The route ventures deep into Bhutan’s mountain wilderness, weaving through stark ridgelines, sacred lakes, and high valleys shadowed by 7000m (22,965ft) giants like Jomolhari, Gangchenta and Table Mountain. Along the way, you’ll pass yak herder camps and remote villages where traditional life endures far from the modern world.
With our decades of Himalayan expertise, trusted local crew and strong logistical support, this is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure for seasoned trekkers ready to step well beyond the ordinary.
