Istanbul - Gallipoli. Once a theatre of fierce conflict, the Gallipoli battlefields now stand as a poignant tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of World War I. Today, we’ll embark on a powerful guided tour, where our expert will bring the gripping history of this iconic region to life.
We’ll explore the hallowed grounds of ANZAC Cove, the Lone Pine Australian War Memorial, and Chunuk Bair New Zealand War Memorial, as well as the resilient trenches where soldiers once braved the frontline.

Day 3, Kusadasi
Gallipoli - Kusadasi/Izmir. This morning, we delve into the legendary city of Troy! If you’ve seen the film Troy or read Homer’s epic The Iliad, you’ll recognise the dramatic tales of Paris, his beloved Helen, Hector, and the Greek heroes Agamemnon and Achilles. Rediscovered in 1863, Troy revealed itself as a layered archaeological marvel with nine ancient cities built one on top of the other, stretching back to 3000 BC. We'll tour the evocative ruins and marvel at the replica of the iconic Trojan Horse, famously filled with Greek soldiers who, according to legend, helped bring down the city.
Our adventure continues as we drive south to the ancient ruins of Pergamum. Here, we’ll be guided through one of the classical world’s most dramatic amphitheatres, perched steeply on a hillside. Pergamum was also renowned for its asclepion, an ancient medical centre, and its impressive Library, which was said to rival the famed library of Alexandria.
