Book eight days leave for 16 days off

In recent years the Easter Break fell late enough in April for you to tag on a few days and roll it into ANZAC Day for a nice sized holiday. Unfortunately, Easter Sunday falls in early April this year making that idea about as hollow as a choccie Easter Bunny. Besides, ANZAC Day falls on Saturday 25 April and only those in Western Australia are allowed a day in lieu the following Monday.

But all is not lost! Tagging on 8 days of leave before Good Friday 3 April AND after Easter Monday 6 April is still a smart way to award yourself a perfect post-summer sojourn. (Damn! You'll miss being the butt of those oh-so-funny April Fool's office pranks this year. Oh well.)

Book four days of leave for nine days off

(This applies to all states except QLD and WA)

Book annual leave on the days following the King's Birthday public holiday (Monday 8 June in NSW, SA, TAS, VIC, ACT and NT) to enjoy nine-days of cozy winter fun in the Barossa, Yarra or Hunter Valley, or even Thredbo!
