Currently, we don’t offer fare alerts for international flight deals. Looking for the easiest way to stay up to date on Air Canada specials and other flight deals as they come in to land? Subscribe for email updates and download the Flight Centre App to make sure you never miss a saving!

There are lots of ways to pay for your Air Canada airfare, including credit or debit cards, PayPal, CommBank Awards points and Flight Centre Gift Cards. More information and a full list of accepted payment methods is available in our Help Centre.

To check the status of your Air Canada flights after booking, talk to your Travel Expert or use the real-time flight status search tool on the Air Canada website if you’re departing within the next few days. More information on how to manage your booking and flight change notifications can also be found in our Help Centre.

While last-minute Air Canada sale fares may become available, you’ll generally find it pays to get organised early when booking flights, particularly if you’re looking at long-haul international flights. Most airlines release tickets around 11 months in advance, and as a rough guide, we recommend booking your Air Canada flights between six and nine months before you plan to fly. When it comes to balancing airfare availability with the best savings, this should give you the best of both worlds!

We know there’s nothing more frustrating than seeing the Air Canada flights you just booked go on sale, so consider adding our Captain’s Pack when booking in-store or our Online Captain’s Pack when booking online for Price Drop Protection options and other benefits.

In most cases, when flying with Air Canada you can bring one standard carry-on bag (55 cm x 23 cm x 40 cm) and one personal item (33 cm x 16 cm x 43 cm) on board with you. There are no weight limits to carry-on baggage, but you’ll need to make sure you can lift it up into the overhead bin by yourself.

An Economy ticket will usually allow you to bring one checked bag weighing up to 23kg with a maximum linear dimension of 158 cm. The linear dimension of your bag is calculated by adding the height, length and width (including wheels and handles).

Baggage allowances may vary depending on your flight itinerary, loyalty program status and ticket class, so make sure you check what’s included with your specific Air Canada tickets. Need to add extra baggage to your booking? Talk to your Travel Expert before take-off.

You may be able to earn frequent flyer points when booking Air Canada flights with us. When booking online, you’ll see a place to add your loyalty program or frequent flyer membership details if this is available for your flights, or you can ask your Travel Expert to do it for you when booking in-store. If your Air Canada airfare meets your program’s requirements, you’ll earn points! For more information, check with your specific loyalty program and see our Booking Terms and Conditions

There’s plenty to explore when you fly with Air Canada! Toronto serves as the airline’s big central hub for domestic routes across Canada as well as international flights to Europe and beyond. Vancouver is the main gateway to Pacific destinations in Asia, Australia and New Zealand, while French-speaking Montréal is another hub for Europe flights. Air Canada also offers a significant transatlantic route servicing London Heathrow.

We sure do! When you book Air Canada flights with us, you’ll have access to our experienced team of Travel Experts before you take off, as well as 24/7 emergency support for added peace of mind while you’re away. More information on how to contact us can be found in our Help Centre, or you can always talk to your Travel Expert if you made your Air Canada flight booking in-store.
