With a subtle hand, Disney have managed to transfer the magic of the much-loved Disney experience into cruise, as well as capture the romance of cruise with ships inspired by the ocean liners of the 1920s and 30s. As you would expect, Disney Cruise Line prides itself on offering some of the most family-friendly cruise ships at sea, with impromptu visits from Mickey and other favourite characters, fantastic live shows and large-scale themed deck parties to celebrate (and meet!) Disney’s most popular characters. Grown-ups are also made to feel very welcome, with an adults-only pool, spa, restaurant and several adults-only decks and bars across the fleet. Staterooms are generous in size, and Disney Cruise Lines also does not disappoint when it comes to dining, with options for adults as well as families.

Activities And Entertainment
There’s a world of amazing things to do aboard Disney Cruise Line. Entertainment is big, with Broadway-calibre musicals, themed deck parties that everyone can enjoy, and character experiences the kids will love. There are also pools for all ages, a spa and salon, sports and fitness options, as well as all kinds of magical surprises in store, such as impromptu character arrivals, unexpected trails of pixie dust, hidden Mickeys in everything from the dinnerware design to the light fittings and a generally wonder-filled atmosphere all round.
Dining And Bars
One of the highlights of a cruise with Disney Cruise Line, for parents, is the adults-only Palo restaurant, which serves up exceptional Northern Italian cooking in a romantic setting. If you want to splurge, selected ships offer the fine dining French restaurant, Remy. While on board, you’ll have access to a number of eateries, including Pluto’s Dog House on the Disney Wonder, Lumiere’s on the Disney Magic and Enchanted Garden on the Disney Dream and Fantasy. Upon boarding your cruise ship, you’ll also be given a schedule that sees you rotating around the three main dining venues each evening, allowing you to experience the different dining atmospheres and menus. There is an After Hours suite of bars for anyone over the age of 18.
When cruising with Disney Cruise Line, soft drinks are included at no extra cost with meals, while additional charges apply for bar drinks, beer, wine and bottled water.
Onboard Experiences – Kids
The Disney Cruise Line experience has been designed with kids in mind. On all four ships, the pool areas are geared toward families, with a Mickey water slide in the pool for younger children, and a small sprinkler pool for toddlers. The various Youth Clubs are when the fun really kicks in for kids, when all the best Disney worlds come into play. For example on Disney Wonder, children aged up to 12 can enter a Marvel universe where superheroes rule, play in Andy’s Room from the Toy Story trilogy, or visit the whimsical world of Pixie Hollow. Now that’s something you can only do with Disney Cruise Line.
Disney Cruise Line Fleet
