Step aboard Oceania Cruises and you could easily feel as if you’ve just entered a fine European hotel, such is the rich shipboard décor and upmarket ambience. Oceania Cruises is a small-ship cruise line tailored to more mature, well-travelled guests who prefer destination-intensive cruising, and value exceptional service as well as the finest cuisine at sea. You won’t find a rock-climbing wall or ice skating rink on an Oceania cruise, although the comfortable and spacious Library with its decorative fireplace is sure to impress. Oceania Cruises is known for offering a lavish experience that is affordable, with no supplementary charges in any of the onboard restaurants. The dining is first class, and Oceania Cruises also offer a range of wonderful enrichment programs, such as their Culinary Discovery Tours, in some of the world’s best foodie destinations. Oceania Cruises can also take you to boutique ports and seaside villages that larger ships cannot access.

Activities And Entertainment
While the atmosphere aboard Oceania Cruises is more ‘casual Country Club ambience’ than ‘all-night rave’, that doesn’t mean there’s any shortage of things to do. Onboard culinary centres give you the chance to learn from some of the world’s Master Chefs, while budding artists can pick up the brushes at the Artist’s Loft enrichment centre. World-class entertainers are on hand to dazzle you with their performances each night, or you may like to play a game of Blackjack or Roulette at the sleek Monte Carlo-style casino. Canyon Ranch Spa is also part of the onboard experience, for deluxe pampering and wellness during your cruise.
Dining And Bars
Oceania Cruises prides itself on serving some of the finest cuisine you’ll ever experience at sea – or anywhere else. Oceania’s Executive Culinary Director, Master Chef Jacques Pépin, has inspired a menu of pure indulgence to create a dining experience that goes above and beyond. You can enjoy authentic Italian dishes at Toscana, a steak grill-cooked to perfection at the Polo Grill Steakhouse, Continental cuisine at the Grand Dining Room, American favourites at the Terrace Café, and delicious pastries and fresh sandwiches and coffee on board. And the best part? There’s no dining surcharge, regardless of which restaurant you choose.
Oceania Cruises have beverage packages available for purchase on board. These include the top Prestige Select package, the House Select package, as well as a Wine by the Glass package, based on a collection of seven bottles of wine.
While children are welcome on board Oceania Cruises, these are not ships designed for family voyages. Oceania Cruises does not offer care, entertainment or supervision for children. The exception is the Alaska Explorer Youth Program, which is available for families exploring between the Northwest Coast and Alaska. This program is designed for age groups between 5 and 12 and is supervised, featuring games, activities and special events.
