Top tips for your trip to Auckland
Slap bang in the centre of Auckland is the iconic Sky Tower building, offering a phenomenal view of the city. Getting to the top is well worth it and the experience doesn't end there. Test your nerve and have a go at the Sky Jump, New Zealand's highest jump at 192 metres. Rather than dangle and bounce around like a bungee or leave yourself open to the elements like a base jump, the SkyJump is a cross between the two. This jump involves a steady drop from the Sky Tower whilst harnessed in at a speed of around 85 kilometres per hour. It's not for the faint-hearted so bring a fair amount of bravery along with you.
If heights are your thing then why not also take the epic Auckland Harbour bridge tour? This tour offers a great piece of New Zealand history and you can either end your day by dunking your head in the water with a heart-racing bungee jump or you can slow the pace right down and enjoy a delicious waterfront dinner.
