Based in Australia, Pacific Jewel offers a relaxed and informal cruising holiday with a contemporary Australian vibe. The recent refurbishment to the ship’s public spaces and venues gives Pacific Jewel a fresh, modern look and includes the addition of Shell & Bones restaurant, serving up locally sourced seafood, grill and vegetarian dishes. Also new is the outdoor barefoot lawn bowling green, perfect for some fun with family or friends. The Oasis now sports stylish, nautical-inspired lounge beds and the ship itself has also been adorned with P&O’s signature livery: the Southern Cross. There’s still plenty to do for the adrenalin junkies, with P&O Edge adventure park, as well as the Spa for a little well-earned pampering. Entertainment keeps the fun going every night with everything from stand-up comedy to full-scale musical productions, and Pacific Jewel also has a great kids’ club for younger cruisers.
