Tours to Argentina

Argentina

Keen to experience the vibrant tapestry of Argentina’s culture, landscapes and cuisine on your next holiday? Whether you’re hoping to savour the flavours of Mendoza wine country, dust off your dancing shoes with Buenos Aires tango shows or experience the pristine panoramas of Patagonia, our Argentina tour packages have something for every wayfaring traveller.

Once you’ve experienced the bustling heart of Buenos Aires, we highly recommend checking out other cities scattered throughout the country. Step back in time and wander through cobblestone streets looking at Salta’s colonial architecture in the country’s mountainous northwest, explore UNESCO-listed Jesuit estancias and visit vibrant markets with Cordoba cultural tours in the middle, or stroll along scenic promenades and relax along the Rosario riverfronts in the west.

Prefer to spend your time out in nature? Hike across icy terrain and marvel at one of the earth’s last frontiers with Patagonia glacier treks, or hit the slopes with stunning lake views at Bariloche ski resorts. Iguazu falls excursions are a must for anyone ticking off the world’s natural wonders, while the Ushuaia end of the world excursions are the perfect way to visit penguin colonies and cruise the Beagle Channel.

Keep the animal encounters going with tours that focus on the Valdes Peninsula wildlife. Spotting whales, penguins, sea lions and more in their natural habitat, you’ll quickly understand why this is one of the world’s premier wildlife watching destinations.

Si! Your palette will be in heaven, sipping and savouring a range of Malbec wines on a wine tour that can easily be added to your Argentina tour package.

Yes, Argentina is generally safe for tourists. If in doubt, we recommend you follow travel advisories, keep up to date with local guidelines and use common sense. (P.S. Don’t forget to grab some travel insurance, that way you’re covered in case something does go wrong).

The best time to visit Argentina is from October to April when you can enjoy plenty of sunshine and warm days. Just keep in mind that January is peak summer, so avoid travelling then if you’re not keen to sweat.

Argentina can be pretty steamy in summer, so bring loose, stylish layers that aren’t going to restrict your holiday vibes. A hat and sunscreen are also a must! While winter can be wet, it won’t be super cold, so some warmer (preferably waterproof) layers will do the trick. On the flip side, if you’re visiting Patagonia, then hiking gear should be your go-to outfit choice.

Argentina tours typically range from one week to two weeks, giving you plenty of time to marvel at Iguazu falls, learn to tango in Buenos Aires, snack on a few empanadas and even get lost amongst the lush wilderness that is Patagonia. Got more time up your sleeve? Chat with our travel experts about extending your trip or even tacking on another tour.

Travel insurance is generally not included in the tour package itself. With that in mind, it’s a pretty important part of your holiday, so chat with our travel experts about including it as part of your booking total.
