Yes, Germany is generally safe for tourists. If in doubt, we recommend you follow travel advisories, keep up to date with local guidelines and use common sense. (P.S. Don’t forget to grab some travel insurance, that way you’re covered in case something does go wrong).

The best time to visit Germany is from May to September for warm weather, October for beer drinking festivities and December for Christmas markets.

Layered clothing and comfortable footwear are a must for your German packing list! Don’t forget warmer options for winter visits, and some lederhosen or dirndl if you’re keen to get amongst the Oktoberfest shenanigans.

Tours typically range from one week to two weeks, giving you plenty of time to visit bucket list spots, feast on currywurst and schnitzel, and snap pics of the stunning German scenery . Got more time up your sleeve? Chat with our travel experts about extending your trip or even tacking on another tour.

Travel insurance is generally not included in the tour package itself. With that in mind, it’s a pretty important part of your holiday, so chat with our travel experts about including it as part of your booking total.
