The best time to visit Scandinavia is between May and September, when the weather is mild and daylight is extended. However, if you’re keen on a winter wonderland or would like to meet Santa, consider heading over in the cooler months of November - February.


Layered clothing is best, as the weather can be unpredictable, and temps can get pretty chilly at times. Beyond that, pack a pair of comfortable walking shoes, a hat and a decent camera in preparation for all the scenic hikes you'll be doing.
