Argentina is one of South America’s most cosmopolitan countries. The Paris of South America
Due to its French Neoclassical architecture and rich European heritage, Buenos Aires is often nick-named the ‘Paris of South America’. Take a tour around the city to fully appreciate the history behind Buenos Aires diverse neighbourhoods. Visit the upscale Recoleta -renowned for its old-world French influences, and wander along the cobblestone streets of San Telmo – a bohemian dream with its antique stores, open-air markets and eclectic cafes.
As for dining, the French can have their snails, but the Argentineans have their steaks, so join a guided food tour through La Boca or Palermo for an insight into their local delicacies. Watch tango dancers in the street, dine in sidewalk cafes, visit world-class galleries and museums – Buenos Aires is Argentina’s cultural and culinary gem.
From North to South
Argentina is a veritable feast of breathtaking scenery from North to South. Not to be missed in the North are the Iguazu Falls where both the waters and borders of Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina meet in a spectacular fashion.
