The Maldives is known for its luxury resorts and private villas, but if you’re looking for more affordable stays try booking beachfront accommodations instead of overwater bungalows, or travelling outside of peak season. While last-minute offers do exist, we recommend booking your Maldives accommodation sooner rather than later. Resort availability can become more limited as your travel dates get closer, especially if you’re visiting during the busier dry season (November to April). Booking early typically gives you access to more choice and better prices.  

Yes! Your Maldives accommodation will typically offer airport transfers between Velana International Airport (Malé Airport) and the resort, usually by seaplane, speedboat and/or shuttle. This will usually come with an additional fee and it’s important that you contact your resort well in advance to organise your transfers.
